SRJC's 20th College day

Okay this post is so gonna be quite similar to the one that i posted in my own blog. hoho.

Anyway, like i mentioned in the previous post, i went for the school's gala dinner with Aloysius, Rick, Dingzhi and Daryl. We saw Ziqi in her beautiful costume and her shimmering eye make up and we also saw Kelly and Xinyu doing duties aka 'shit job" for the school. OOOPS? haha.

Anyway, the entire event was spectacular because everyone was in their best attire and even the teachers were dressed so smartly. p.s: MS LAM WORE A WHITE DRESS THAT DAY! hoho.
She looked so cute! haha. Ms phua was pretty that day too. I saw her on the stage giving some speech for the Prize Presentation before the dinner. There were many alumni who came back that day to witness the changes in SRJC as well. Do u guys know the celebrity,Koh Yah Hwee? She was one of the the alumni too! She came back and i also managed to take a photo with her! She's damn nice in person and was approachable too! :D

The food was okay but unfortunately the service wasn't very good.. Probably because there were too many people to serve and some waiters simply gave attitudes or sth. There was nth we could do anyway. Well, but all in all, i think the overall standard of the food was still acceptable and i was really full on that day!

heh. At least the 60 bucks ticket didn't go to waste larh. hehee.

Just for Laugh?

During the third wk of the holidays, my group actually met up and had a group discussion on our Written Report for chapter 1. It was more of like a small kopi-talk session and discussion was kind of minimal as we had so much to tok about regarding our holidays. Haha, or perhaps u can say that we were kind of excited to see each other again. haha.

I don't know what is the purpose of putting this up here, but i thought it will be funny. haha.

So....Everyone was present except for our dear Xin Yu.

To feel her presence in the group, Sherllie decided to do this.......

ha. So...we proceeded with our grp discussion as usual with xinyu "around" and she definitely was useful becos without her, i wouldn't be able to navigate my laptop so easily. hahaha!

The sch's celebrating its 20th anniversary on this coming Sat. Me, Aloysius, Rick, Daryl and Ding Zhi will be representing the class to attend the Gala night. I hope it would be fun!

Poor Xinyu and Kelly have duties to commit and then the class's mummy(Ziqi!) is going to perform for us! ~

Can't wait to c her perf. :D

Class Trip To the Science Centre

IM COMING HERE TO SEE IF EVERYBODY STILL RMB THE EXISTANCE OF THIS BLOG!!!

WHY IT SEEMS THAT NOBODY IS MAKING IT ALIVE??????

Last Tuesday, our class had a "class outing" to the Science Centre for an experiment on DNA.

It was quite fun because it was our very first time seeing cool equipments in the lab. We had to be very meticulous in regards to the handling of the equipment too. We were also required to wear Lab coats so as to prevent any stainings on our uniforms. It sure made us had a scientist 'feel'. hahaha.

After which, we had a chance to explore the science centre. It was very exciting to see that most of the exhibitions have been changed and we were very thrilled to see how the new machines worked. Damn Cool.

There was this particular station where u have to fixed the broken puzzles into a six sided hexagon perfectly.

And there was this grp of people who took very "short" time to complete the whole puzzle!

& how exactly short i meant???

Cheers to all of u! haahaha.

I must really salute them man. Despite several attempts of asking them to freaking leave the freaking place and abandon the unsolved puzzle, they refused and were very determined to solve the puzzle. Initially i thought they were just joking about completing the puzzle because it seemed kinda tough and they had a hard time to fix all the pieces at the right places. However, It occured to me that they were serious about it because they stood there for more than 1 hour just to solve the freakin puzzle!

Indeed, they never let themselves down and solved the puzzle with intense satisfaction and accomplishment.

Moral of the lesson: Nothing is impossible. Keep on trying, u'll achieve it.

Anyway, i sure feel that this trip was a fruitful and an enlightening one. We managed to acquire new knowledge and also special thanks to Rick who actually went and did his research on DNA and brought us so much laughter in the lab. (hahaha, u were great,really^^.)[ He's gonna be damn smug again -.-]

I wonder how is the class coping with the holiday assignment. The second wk of the holis are coming to an end, I hope the class has already cleared off some of the burden that are being layed on our shoulders. I know is not easy but as long as we got back the momentum, we shld be able to complete them on time.(Im still struggling with math tho, i hope im not the only one :x)

hey people! It's me Jade!

Alright, i know i took pretty long to actually make a blog but i hope wad u c now doesn't disappoint u at all.

After creating this blog, i sincerely hope that our class will have a better platform to convey or disseminate news/reminders to the class. This is a shared blog, where evryone has the responsibility to take good care of it. It is the class's onus to make sure that there are no childish pple who scam/vandalized our blog.
